WHAT IS THE A.W.S.C. |

| AWSC is an abbreviation of
Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs. The Association was formed in
1969 in Minocqua, Wisconsin. Its purpose is to serve and represent snowmobilers
in the state, and it is dedicated to the welfare of recreational snowmobiling exclusively.
It is a non-profit organization of local snowmobile clubs throughout the state, joined
together, to further the family sport of snowmobiling.

What is the Purpose of the Organization? |

| The purpose is to serve and represent
snowmobilers in the State of Wisconsin. The association is
dedicated to the welfare of recreational snowmobiling. Founded
in 1969, AWSC is a non-profit organization of local snowmobile
clubs throughout the state of Wisconsin joined together to further
the family sport of snowmobiling. Presently there are 600+ clubs which belong to the AWSC with over 30,000 family members.

How is the AWSC Organized? |

| The organization is comprised of volunteers
and is volunteer-driven. The State of Wisconsin is divided into
72 counties. Each county has a county association with a board of directors.
Each county association elects a director. The directors elect an executive
director to serve on the AWSC Board of Directors with the
officers of the organization. The officers are elected each year
at the Annual Convention. A business manager is employed by
the organization with a small office staff. An attorney is also
retained by the organization as a lobbyist in Madison on behalf
of the association clubs and members.

What Events does the AWSC hold?Fall Workshop | |
| Held in late October, this workshop offers seminars for all members
on topics such as trail grooming, club activities, and fund raising.
Social activities are held providing an opportunity to network and
exchange ideas. A snow show is also held.

Winter Convention | |
| The Annual Convention is held in late winter or early spring.
Election of officers takes place, information is exchanged, and the
business of the organization is discussed. | |
Director/Committee Meetings | |
| Directors' meetings are held five times a year and committee meetings
are held as needed.
