The Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs partnering with American Income Life Insurance Company is pleased to announce two 2006 $1000 scholarship winners

Scholarship Winner
Kristyn Marie Stoller, of De Pere a senior at Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay, is one of this year’s $1,000 scholarship winners. Applicants of the scholarship are judged on their essay of “What Snowmobiling Means to Me” along with their achievement of academic success while maintaining a healthy balance of involvement in school and community as well as with their snowmobile club. Kristyn has been extremely successful at this goal; earning National Honor Society membership. Kristyn, also participated in various volunteer community efforts plus provided service to her snowmobile club River Road Riders. Kristyn is the daughter of Michael and Ginny Stoller of De Pere and plans to further her education this fall at the St. Norbert’s College.

Rachel Kaiser, a senior at Colby High School, is one of this year’s $1,000 scholarship winners. Applicants of the scholarship are judged on their essay of “What Snowmobiling Means to Me” and their ability to achieve academically as well as maintain a balance of involvement in school, community and their local snowmobile club. Rachel scholastic success has placed her in membership of the National Honor Society. In addition, she is an actively involved member of her snowmobile club, the Clark County Trailblazers. Rachel is the daughter of Marty & Gwen Kaiser of Colby and plans to further her education this fall at St. Norbert’s College.

N.E.W. Low Buck Vintage Riders Donate $1000 to the AWSC for a third Scholarship Winner. N.E.W. LBVR Scholarship winner is Ryan Parkos of Kewaunee, WI. Ryan attended the AWSC Convention with his parents and other members of his family. Mark Apitz presented the scholarship at the Saturday evening dinner. Mark gave Ryan a Duct Tape Wallet, Used Tow Rope, and a Soda. Ryan’s official trail name became High Beam, and he will be attending UW Madison. Congratulations Ryan!!
